Plastering & Rendering

Rising Damp now resolved with gully being fixed. What to use on outside and inside if the wall.

Hi, we had a gully issue which is now fixed. It had caused some damp issues internally. I have now stripped the plaster back, and cleaned the outside wall with a stiff wire brush on a drill. Could you please advise what to apply both inside and outside walls. I have looked on 'youtube' and these say apply a salt solution to the internal wall and get some damp proof plaster.... Another one says to render it with a waterproofing mix with cement. Any help appreciated. thanks. Any questions let me know cheers. https://ibb.co/PZKy57y https://ibb.co/Wn2rD6b https://ibb.co/GTnjgGq https://ibb.co/S5zXV5g

First you would have to let the effected area fully dry completely. On the outer skin of the wall once dry apply a solution of Pva and water or SBR I would apply a few times just to give you that little barrier. Once that was done then apply a sand and cement render with a waterproof in the mix. For the internal wall the same process of a Pva solution or SBR and then a skim finish over the top.

Bond and skim the inside, On the exterior render with a waterproof agent there is no need for damp proofing as the gully solved the problem.
