Who do you ask to fix a bedroom window that won’t close properly?

Hi, just wondering if someone could give some advice. The bedroom small window has dropped and will not close and lock. This means there is a large gap at the top of the window which is letting in a draft. Who would I ask to fix this please as I am wanting to get something booked ASAP?! Thanks

The window may need some adjustment or the friction stays could be worn and need replacing, these are the two most common issues relating to incorrect operation. Ask a upvc door and window repair specialist or a locksmith.

This sounds like window hinges may need replacing or some adjustment to window .if the hinges were to be changed it would involve the glass having to be taken out then hinges changed then reglaze once all put back should work nicely again .but the surveyor would check this is the case beforehand.

Sounds like the window has dropped.
If that’s the case it need what’s called heal and toe! Basically reglazing
