Understairs toilet?
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.13 PM
I’m thinking of buying a house but would need a toilet put in downstairs. There’s space under the stairs to do this, but there’s no outside wall. Is there any reason I wouldn’t be able to fit a saniflo or equivalent? Also re ventilation - would it be possible/practical to vent from toilet wall through ducting in kitchen to outside wall, or is there a better solution?

Hi Fiona. It is not always possible to say without seeing the job. My advise would be to pay for a builder to run up some plans which you can use to obtain any building permissions from the relevant authorities, allegedly. Regards, Bob.
