How many 8 x 4 ft plaster board sheets are required for 100 yds square.

100yard sq = 900ft sq
One board is 8x4 (32ft sq)
900 / 32 = 28.12
Add 10% = 3 Board

Roughly around 36 with 5% allowed for waste

91.44m2 ÷ 2.4 =38
So 38 2.4 x1.2 boards required.

Work it out in metres not yards . Everything is metre squared these days , so easier to order boards , skim , paint etc
