Kitchen Fitting

Wickes magic corner unit under sink.

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 2.52 PM

I've just ordered a wickes kitchen which has a magic corner, as i only have a small kitchen the designer has put the sink above the magic corner. Im just a bit concerned there wont be enough room for the mechanism to work with the plumbing in position. The sink bowl will be over the door? Thank you for your responses. Went back to designer and changed magic corner into a shelf unit.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi steptoe_49 The designer would have put the drainer over the the corner unit and should therfore not get in the way of anything. The plumbing will be positioned away(to the left or right, depending on your set up) from the magic corner so you should have no problems. All the best Paul Sharpington

Only problem in given set-up it`s worktop joint been too close to drainer (2 cm) not good on long run as water will find way eventually in to joint. Regards Z Maric
