Kitchen Fitting

Apollo slab tech worktops

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.52 PM

Can these work tops be bought as a full sheet and just fitted and cut to size by a tradesman or does it require a specialist? Thanks

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi yes these can be bought as full lengths and cut to size on site, they are a little bit more involved than standard laminate worktops but any decent kitchen fitter would be able to do it.

A kitchen fitter can fit these but most will avoid them at all costs if they can, they're not nice to do. I'd organise your fitter first and discuss with them BEFORE buying them as you might struggle. They also scratch and mark very easily and the darker colours are particularly bad (their own website even tells you this). Personally I'd always go for real quartz, quite often not too different in price but infinitely more hard wearing.

I would only have these worktops fitted by someone who has experience in fitting them. Preferably someone who had accreditation from the manufacturers.
