Filling tap holes on a marble kitchen top?
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.34 PM
Hello I have a marble kitchen top which has 2 holes for a bridge tap. I want to replace this with a single hole tap and I wanted to know is there a way to plug the existing holes so they aren't visible and look good? Many thanks

Hi. Most likely a mono tap will need a slightly larger hole. I myself would not try and make a marble top hole larger. Mono taps can sometimes run slower so I personally would stick with the 2 tap hole tap. Regards, Bob.

yes you can use a faucet with water mixer and two inlets that will look extraordinarily good or you can use in one of the holes a single faucet or in the other hole a faucet for detergent (pure) or special stainless steel caps are used which can be painted in countertop color and will look great.

Hi. If that's what you want, it can be done. You always can fit a luxury tap hole stopper in one of the holes, not the cheaper plastic ones, but solid metal, brass, ceramic, etc.. to fit your stetic requirements. I'm sending you one which looks like a nice brand stamp, it's just an example.

Hope it helps.
