Can I swap a Thermostatic for a Power Shower

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.34 PM

Hi all, I currently have a Mira Event XS Thermostatic shower that needs replacing. I don't mind replacing like for like as this will be easiest. My question is, can I replace it for the slightly cheaper Mira Event XS Power Shower? The house will be having a full refurb in the coming years so replacing the shower is a temporary fix and as such if I can save a few quid I'll be happier. Thanks in advance

It's not a plumber you need an electrician. From what I know about them I'd say it is debwnding on what elactric cable that has been used. 8mm cable will take you up to 8kw any higher you will need 10mm cable. I hope that helps
