How many 25 kg bags of sand and cement are needed for 2500 brick wall 1 brick thick with 1:4 mix

How many 25 kg bags of sand and cement are required for a wall of 2500 brick 1 brick thick 1:4 ratio.

It depends on the bricks. Do they have holes in them, do they have a frog, but i would suggest around 1ton of sand and 200-250kg of cement per 1000 bricks.

Depends on brick type frog eg. London bricks take a lot more mortar than bricks with holes but these vary from 3 to 12 holes. Rule of thumb. Is 1000 bricks ton of sand 10 bags of cement. But this can change as levels have to be met which means. Sometimes mortar is used to bump or grind . Please remember when buying sand from merchants it is just under a ton. Hope this helps

I would buy ton bags of sand myself to save on money, and for that amount of bricks, you would need 3 ton bags, and 25 bags of cement

One ton of sand and ten bags of cement should be enough for one thousand brick but you can reduce the ratio from 4/1to5/1depending the brick being used
