What are the options for raising a floor to be level between two rooms?

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.32 PM

Hello, we've recently had an orangery built across the back of our house and have decided we want to fit a continuous floor between the hall, kitchen and extension. The floor in the extension is approx 20mm lower than that of the kitchen and I'm not sure the best way of rectifying this. Im assuming that 20mm can't be defeated by underlay alone and was hoping for some advice. Thanks.

Hi I would fit 18mm plyboard then prime and latex (Fibre reinforced) the remaining area all over So you should end up with a perfect base to start installing your new floor many thanks Matthew
