Can I install wall mounted taps on the inside of an external brick wall?

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.32 PM

Hi, I am preparing to turn our boiler room into a toilet/washroom. Inside the room is a boiler (duh!), and outside in the garden there is a cold water tap. I would love to save space by having the mixer tap for the sink mounted in the interior wall, about a meter and a half from the boiler. Would this be much more work than a counter - top mounted tap? Could the pipes come directly through the wall or do I need to carve out a cavity for them? (I will be employing a professional to do the work but I can make holes myself!). I want to know what is involved before I buy the taps...

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Just buy a cloakroom basin which are very small & the tap fits into it, you aren't gonna save any space by having the tap wall mounted
