In order to install a new window neighbour would need to use our drive.

Hi Josephine,
This is a tricky one. IS this to check if you are legally required to do so? If this is the case, I would check your title deed for your property. Most properties built in the past 50/60 years do have a right of access clause which allows neighbours to access to conduct essential works to their property. Although this is the case, I would be neighbourly and allow them to do this on the condition they put right any damage (if any) and ensure your property is cleaned from debris after any works. Obtaining the contractors insurance is also a good idea before allowing them access to your property.
