Pressure washer / Hose use cause overflow to leak into neighbours garden

Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.32 PM

Hello, When I use the pressure washer, and at times the water hose, the overflow pours out, which then runs into my neighbours garden. I do not have an outside tap as the kitchen is at the front of the property. So in order to water the garden a hose has to be run through the length of the house. The kitchen has a mixer tap which I connect the hose to, what are the options to stop the overflow flowing?

I would fit an non return valve on the supply pipes to the tap.

A non return valve would work, but would be better to fi x a bib tap with a internal non return fix to the outside of the property.
