Craters in new plaster.can these be filled.

Hi there i got my hall replastered.and i have gave it two mist coats.there was a few craters and scratches.can these be fixed or do i have to get wall re plastered.the final coat will be light grey.and these stand out & there is waves in plaster too were wall was flat before.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi there you can filler the holes/scratches and if you have a sander you can sand the waves and the bits that are filled give it a good coat of white emulsion before giving the last coat. The wood work give a light rub down before painting.

You can use some fine filler to fill creators. I would suggest getting the plasterer back and showing him - it shouldn't have waves in it

Gypsum make a filler called "easy fill" its epic, fill any holes marks or scratches your not happy with and rub down with a fine sand paper. Try not to overfill the areas too much, but I find it's a brilliant product. You can purchase this from most builders merchants and I would think places like B and Q stock it as well. Then give the whole wall another miss match of paint in white before applying your top 2-3 coats of finished emulsion.

No thats not acceptable you could use aimes or filler then rub down but if yo have payed a plasterer a good price he should re do it or get it replastered if you can afford to
