Planning permission for changing windows to door
Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.12 PM
I own a ground floor Victorian conversion flat in east London, with a share of the freehold. I want to convert the window in the kitchen into a door going out into the garden. Please does anyone know if I need planning permission for this?

Highly unlikely but best to check with council.... if your widening the opening you will need building regulations

Best to check with council. You will either need a Fensa or Certass installer to put doors in or you organise Building control yourselves to sign them off. As all doors and windows need building control sign offf
