Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.31 PM

I am moving to a cornish house, 2 bed and 1 bath semi detached. Currently the boiler is conventional storage boiler and I would like to system upgrade. But torn between the various suggestion from varied gas engineers 1. Vissemann 100 3028 or 30kw - not sure which one is better 2. Valiant ecotec 3. Inter gas 4. Baxi 800 Appreciate some advise Regards Rg

In my eyes Baxi you can’t beat for value the 600 comes with 7yr warranty but the 800 comes with a filter in the pack and 10 yrs warranty I would fit the 830 so you have decent flow rate on the hot water I fit these all the time don’t have any problems with them

Vaillant is a better boiler all round but before you decide, check the water pressure and flow rate at the kitchen mains cold water tap. Personally I’d always go Worcester but it’s down to installers choice. Have fitted a few viessmann boilers and not that impressed myself.
