Noisy Pump Issue - Central Heating
Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 3.31 PM
Hi, landlord installed Viessmann vitodens 100 19kw Dec '2019. Since then the pump has been very noisy when on, constant vibration through pipes, loud enough to wake me up in the mornings and you can hear it downstairs. They sent an engineer out, he was useless as had no idea about Viessman brand, he seemed to think it was a fault with the boiler which i disputed as you can clearly hear the vibration from the pump! The other thing i noticed is that the pump has been fitted upside down, pump has been set to ii. Any idea what could be causing the constant vibration, i have Bled the radiators and there is no air, no leak(although the water tank valve is currently dripping). Vibration will die down for maybe 2 weeks then start again. Any pointers appreciated before i go back to the landlord How do i upload a picture? It's a conventional boiler not combi, therefore pump is needed.
