Concrete an area at the front of a garage

Hi I have an area 4.8m x .9m x 4" deep How many 25kg bags of cement and ballast would I need for a 6:1 Thank you

6 to 1 isn't going to be strong enough.

Around 10 bags cement to 1 bulk bag ballast (1/2 inch to dust) at 5/1 should be fine with measurements provided

You need to mix at a ratio of 1 part cement, 2 part sand and 3 parts aggregate. Or you can just use 1 part cement to 4 parts all in ballast.

Thats a little over 4 cubed metres of concrete about 2 bulk bags of ballast to the cube m so 8 bulk bags. For about a c25 to c30 mix you would need about 7 25kg bags of cement to 1 bukk bag of ballast so 56 bags of cement. You may also want to reinforcd it woth A142 mesh Hope this helps
