Can paving slabs and plastic eco bases take huge weights?

I am clearing a 4m x 3m area of the garden. I haven't 100% decided what I will put on so I want to keep my options open. It seems the three main choices for building bases are paving slabs, plastic gravel/aggregate-filled eco bases and full concrete base. Do the slabs and eco base have weight limits? I see them used often for smaller projects such as a wooden shed. Would slabs be able to take something much heavier like a summer house or garden office building? Both slabs and plastiic shingle grid are perfectly fine for heavy weights as long as you put a good sub base down first

Simple answer would be the traditional concrete base. If you use slabs there are very few on the market that would give u a perfectly flat surface to be able to erect your building. And yes the eco route is all well and good but would not last as long probably be a lot more expensive and would never be as good as a solid concrete base

It’s not what you use it’s the ground preparation that’s the answer solid compacted ground will take the weight. You need to take out all the top soil down to hard clay and build up with sub base and compact it. If you don’t it won’t matter what you use it will subside. If I was doing a summer house or home office I would use a concrete base.
