12mm male Tap fixing to 15mm male wall fixing

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.33 PM

I have a tap that I am looking to replace. The tap has pre-fitted pipes out the bottom with 12mm Male threaded ends. The fitting on the wall has a 15mm ball valve. Essentially I am looking for a 12mm - 15mm converter with FEMALE ends on each side, but I am not sure that these exist. ideally, I do not want to have to change the ball valve as I do not want to have to turn off the water to the whole house etc etc etc. Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Replace tap tails if possible or get another tap with 1/2" Female connections. Or use 1/2" male brass socket with appropriate bush 1/2"X1/4"(3/8") not sure what is 12mm in inches and is 12mm male metric thread or imperial (BSP).
