Removing cement mortar

I had some slabs put down incorrectly,the pointing wasn't done so they do come off however there is hard concrete underneath I want to start afresh,what would be easiest way to remove this cement

Hi , the best way to remove a sand and cement bed is to get a hammer and bolster and chisel away at it until you have removed enough for you to get a shovel in . Once you have done that get the shovel under the bed and push down on the shovel and lever the bed up . Any really stubborn bits may need some extra work with a hammer but in the most part it should come up no problem.

I would personally use a light breaker , ( not a jack hammer ) but more than likely the cement will be bonded to the hardcore , and you’ll end up bringing up both .
