Colour of pavers

Anonymous user 09/03/2024 - 3.10 PM

We have just had a new patio laid on a bed of concrete .the colour was beautiful a sort of Italian look with some variation in colour but mostly pale .After the rain the colour has changed it is more earthy and darker and I don’t like the colour will it dry out back to the original colour the builder coated the back of the slabs before laying them if not can I bleach them ?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

I think you should just leave them and when they dry out they should go back to normal if not call back the builder

The flags will go back to the original colour when dry, all paving changes colour when wet, , do not bleach it will spoil the flags.

Slabs do not change colour permanently due to being wet It sounds like the colour is darker due to the slab holding rain it should dry out and when it does look at the possibility of sealing the slabs with a paver sealant slabs
