can i hide gas an electric cable and pipes, meters[ etc behind a new stud wall in basemet

Hi there, can anyone advise me please? We want to make our basement usable for 8 year old and his model train set. At present there are gas pipes and meter, and electric cables and meter, and water pipes, where they enter the property. I want to screen all this off to make it safe and presentable, but aware there would be regulations around this. I'd really appreciate advise on how to approach, or even who to ask to supervise plans. many thanks in advance

Cables and pipes are housed in stud walls all the time, in new builds or refurbs, nothing wrong with that. Meters, etc of course to be accessible

In general services, ie Electric cables ,water mains Can easily be hidden away behind a stud wall or between tanking membrane and the back of the plasterboard on a stud within a basement .
All utilities meters however should be fully accessible for reading purposes and for maintenance and as such should be within a lockable cupboard.
It would also be reasonable to make a note of any services out of view on an elevation drawing which could be passed on to any future house owner.
