Can I vent a single hose portable AC through a vented capped chimney?

I have a portable single hose air conditioning unit. Currently the hot air hose points out the window but requires a window seal to really be efficient. I have a vented capped chimney. Vented at the top and at a brick vented at the moment. Can I connect the hot air hose of the AC to the brick vent in the chimney? What are the chances of condensation on a capped chimney? No other things use the chimney. No boilers or heaters, notother fireplaces. Thanks.
