my walls have been replastered due to a flood i noticed that on the corners you can see the metal "beads" going down surely this is wrong thought the plaster would be thicker on corners to hide them

skim beads will show through in places once painted you wont see them

the metal on the skim beads should only be seen on the actual corner to ensure the corners are square, if any other part of the bead is showing then either the plaster is on to thin or the bead itself has not been put on correct.

The only part you should be able to see is the corner (paint will cover this), if you can see any other part of the bead it hasnt been fitted correctly!

you should only see the bead down the angle (about 3 mill) and no more
