Does my gas safe engineer need to give me a building regs document to install a new radiator?

Hi Got a few questions please? 1)Bathroom radiator leaking, needs replacing as it's very old. Got gas safe engineer coming to replace rad on Monday. I know Gas safe are part of competent persons scheme but will I need a certificate, or will the gas safe engineer just notify the council, and how will I know they have been notified? The gas safe engineer is not in my borough but I chose him because he is good. 2)Also I got central heating installed by a different Gas safe engineer in 2015, impossible to get him on the phone, don't know if he notified building control, should I have had a document for this, as I never got one? 3)Got kitchen radiator installed by gas safe engineer a few years ago, can't remember when, dunno if they notified building control, never got any certificate? Thanks
