How do i install a dishwasher, remove a cupboard and heater in the plinth in a cupboard space?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.40 PM

I want to install a dishwasher next to my sink. I currently have a cupboard here with a Myson kickspace heater in the plinth under this cupboard. Is it possible to remove this cupboard and remove or relocate the myson heater underneath the cupboard to install a dishwasher? Would I need a plumber or an electrican? I would like this done ASAP, how long would this sort of job take?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

yes you can take out and relocate, you will need a plumber to drain and remove the heater, if electric heated then an electrician will have to do it. this should take about 4/5 hours at most, put the job on here for someone to do for you

The Myson Kick Space plinth heaters are either wet or dry. If they're wet they run off the central heating system just like a radiator and they also have an electrcial connection too for the fan. If they are dry then they're just electrical and do not have any central heating flow and return pipes connected, just the electrical power cable. So, depending on the type, you might just need an electrician or one with plumbing skills or a plumber as well.
