Electrical condition of the house
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.32 PM
We recently had a new fuse box fitted in a property from the early 1960's, we received our paperwork and testing results but we're not in contact with the electrician now, so can any electrician sum up the results for us if the images of the paperwork are provided? How do I upload images?

As I understand it, you want an electrician to explain what it all means? Out of interest, what sort of certificate did you get at the end, and did the spark notify it to Building Control?

Yes but you need to post an image of the certificate test results . If he fitted a new consumer unit he should/must test the entire wiring and only certify if all satisfactory to 18th edition regs

If you had a new consumer unit installed the electrician that fitted it would have sent you an electrical installation certificate and would have notified your work via their competent person scheme (NICEIC, Napit, Stroma etc) to building control, the schedule of test results would be the best page to show/upload
