Waste Pipe behind freestanding electric cooker

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 3.32 PM

Hi, I want to install a dishwasher. The only space available would mean placing the waste pipe behind the electric cooker. Is this permissible or does it contravene regulations in some way? Any advice appreciated!

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

As long as its clipped and doesn't impede the cooker that will be absolutely fine.

if you don't know what you're doing wouldn't it be better to call someone who spent four years of their lives learning their trade and I might add will fairly charge you for doing what your asking ! Or maybe it's more about taking advantage.

Obviously manufacturers instructions overall any regulations but a cooker can go up against a combustible surface it should not make any difference it is designed to have the heat retained in the unit and not heat things around it
