How do I replace old gravel with new

So I wanted to update my front garden gravel with more of a white colour stone How would I do this just remove the old one and add new gravel? Apologies I’m a complete novist to this all.. regards

Hi thank you for your question The best way to tackle this task would be to remove the old gravel and dispose in a small skip. And replace the membrane fabrick that is already in place as it deteriorates over time. The best membrane to use would be a black extra heavy duty membrane normaly has green lines woven into the fabrick. Do not use the thin cloth fabrick type.. after installation of the membrane fill a wheel Barrow with gravel tip in small heaps and rake level with the back of the garden rake dont rake with spikes down as there is a risk the rake will pull and ripp the installed membrane.
