How to build steps NOT to block the dustbin
Anonymous user 16/03/2024 - 2.30 PM
Hi, We would like to build steps as our stomp porch is a bit high. (please see photos) https://photos.app.goo.gl/QHm3sWhVDdxuCfZA8 However, this will block the path of dustbin as our front patio is a bit narrow. We welcome any suggestion to make this better. 1) Cut the front wall to make the exit wider so we can pull out dustbin. 2) or should we create two exists. We welcome any suggestion. Many thanks

Looking at the photo your options are either cut the wall back so you have a wider opening, or build the step and a slope/ramp on to it from the bin side.

If wanting a raised step like the picture I’d suggest taking all the wall down and have an open front with wrought iron fence with easy access to bins

I would possibly build a sleep that’s slopes towards the bins and also towards the front path allowing the bin to be wheeled out easily but if wanting a standered step with no slopes then remove section of the wall to allow room for step and bin
