Hive plug and Thermostat plug working same time

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.49 PM

I have 2 heaters in my snooker room. So I have a thermostatic plug in a mains socket. But I also have a HIVE plug to turn the rads on and off. I want both plugs to be working. The thermostatic plug to be on all the time so that when the heaters come on via the hive plug once they reach Temp they turn off. But also so that when the HIVE turns off the rads turn off and the Thermostat plug remains on showing the Temp. I feel I am missing something to make this work. Can anyone advise?

The hive thermostat doesn’t support opentherm and there for won’t work with other open therm controllers such as Honeywell smart home trvs. It would be best to install a open therm compatible thermostat.
