Boss strap to join new soil pipe to horizontal soil pipe?

The new soil pipe (new ensuite) can drain into existing horizontal soil pipe? I noticed I can make a hole and add boss strap for shower and basin waste using an adapter, but can I do the same for soil waste? Wouldn’t the size be different? Is there an adapter for soil pipe? Or, would I have cut the horizontal pipe and add the new soil pipe using a Tee/Wye? Thanks

yes you will need to cut in a new soil branch to take the new wc.

hi you would need to cut the soil pipe and add a Y or T joiner to be able to use 4 inch soil waste from the toilet .
