The most cost effective way as far as space is a dense rubberoid sound insulation slab they are 600x600x50mm they cost around £50 to buy. You stick them onto the wall using insta-stick, then with the same product stick a layer of gypsum soundblocker plasterboard,tape and skim to finish. Look the product up. it really does work. Serai Interiors is right but if you don't have so much money to spend and you don't mind losing 11 centimeters from your house on all the party walls area (and anyway you lose space with whatever you are using), there is one cheap solution: 4 by 2 timber frame on the party walls, rockwool, plasterboard skimmed and painted.
