Shower runs when toilet or tap used

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.55 PM

Hello, Whenever we use the taps or flush the toilet in our bathroom, the shower/bath taps run quite a lot. But sometimes to actually use the shower/bath taps when you want to, you have to run the sink taps to get it to start! Any idea how we could fix this while in lockdown? Thank you

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

BROTHER, WHEN U OPEN THE TAP IN BASIN SINK, AND OR TOILET, YOU REALISE , PRESSURE , THEM THE SHOWER WORKING, SO CHANGE SHOWER MIXER FOR A NEW ONE, BUT U CAN ALSO CHANGE JUST THE MIXER,IN SHOWER UNIT

You probably don’t have enough static head to operate a shower. Check for potential air locks, Would recommend fitting A shower pump.
