Is it brick or stone,I recommend using nhl3.5 with clean well graded sand not building sand 1 fine sharp and 2 soft sand and 1 lime is normally suitable for joints up to 20mm.Assuming conditions are perfect ie weather and exposure to wind which will cause the pointing to fail. rake out and pointing assume 10m2 per man day.if anymore than this is being done it is being rushed, not being looked after and will more than likely fail .this is not a job that should be rushed and where speed and cost comes before quality

Working on a timeframe of 8-10metres squared.angle grinded out and pointed in a day, and scaffolding already in place shouldn’t take longer than 3weeks

It will take 2 men 2 days to rake out and wash down, and 3 pointing specialist 2 days to repoint, this would be around 35 m2 each man a day. In total job would take 3 days as pointers would follow on rakers day two. Hope this helps . Thanks Lee
