Do I need electric ceiling rose?!

Currently, bathroom light, extractor fan and isolator for fan are all connected to a ceiling rose placed next to the fan in the bathroom. The Isolator is in the other room which is very inconvenient. Can I remove this ceiling rose and add all connections to the Isolation box for the extractor? Basically live, switch live and neutral from the light connecting to the isolation switch, and from there, will connect to the fan. Is this ok to do, or do I have to have the ceiling rose? Thanks

In a nut shell all electrical connections have to be accessible. Also any electrical work being carried out in a bathroom, which is special location, has to be notified to Building Control. My advise is get a registered electrician in who can carry out the works and report the works to your local building control

if the work is carried by an electrician it would be done correctley building control do not need to be informed

It all depends on the size of the bathroom and the location of the fan. A site survey would be wise to ensure that compliance with partP of the regs is maintained. Most work, excluding new circuits is not notifiable. If works are notifiable then the NICIEC/other registered contractor will advise you and attend to all required actions
