Fittlng a night latch lock to a magnet locking main door

Can you fit a night latch lock to a Main Street door that as a strip of metal running down the middle holding in to magnetic locks in positioned top and bottom of the door,with out affecting the operation of the two locks engaging when the door is shut.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

In theory it could be done but probably not a good idea in practice. I'm assuming this is a flat entrance that can be opened remotely by the tenants. With a Yale type lock it would prevent them doing this.

I’m assuming the magnetic lock is still operational and operated by a key fob so here’s the awnser. The 2 locks will work, engage and disengage as normal, the only problem is both magnetic lock and night latch will need to be opened simultaneously which isn’t ideal. The other thing is the chances are it has a magnetic lock on the door as it has multiple users for the entrance I.e flats so acts as a fire escape so by adding a night latch deems it unsuitable as per the fire safety reform. Hope this helps
