no hot water from boiler for 3 days now done what a can need a bit more info thanks

Hi had a leak on a radiator so fixed after i drained them.All is good on that side but now have no hot water.I have heating ok radiators are good and hot.I have running water from hot tap but always cold.Also i have put a breather valve onto side of the pipe coming out from side of copper tank in loft incase a had a air lock the type of boiler i have is a condensor boiler ideal mexico.does anyone have any info to help thanks david help please to let u know it’s not a combo boiler it’s a condenser boiler coppertank in loft with cold water tank above any help out there please

Try to refill with water boiler and se.on the presure!

this complicated without see the sisterm , but if work before you carryout, the job, i will say air lock, or check u out let dhw in the cylinder ,you maybe forgot, to turned back on or motorized valve( or 3 way valve), i recommended before play with this type of central heating, ask for advised to a gas or plumbing engineer.

If you've got water at the DHW tap & you fitted the AAV correctly then your fault is either the zone / 3 way, stat or programmer.

Without seeing the system it’s quite hard to say exactly what the problem is, but as you’ve got heating, it’s normally the 3 port valve that’s at fault or is it a single zone valve for the heating and one for the hot water? On either there is a manual lever on the side that you can move until it locks in position and then see if the pipe starts to get hot on the pipe going into the cylinder, make sure the programmer is on for hot water!
