Water supply to en-suite from main bathroom via Tee?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.48 PM

Converting store room into an en-suite. Have a bathroom next door. Is it ok to get a Tee from hot and cold pipes under the bath tap (22mm pipes) to get water supply to the en-suite via 15mm PEX? (Went to the attic and unable to distinguish which is what, hence wondering if this is ok to do so?)

Yes this is possible. My advise would be to use reducing tee’s and then send them through in 15mm with isolation valves on both hot and cold feeds. That way you can always isolate that en-suite if needed for repairs or upgrades etc 👍🏻
