Smell coming from boiler

The boiler was installed 18th January following failed cp12. Admittedly every engineer that has seen the boiler since has admitted it's not the best install (use of compression tools rather than soldering, use of preexisting discharge pipe and other pipes rather than new) the boiler has had 3 gas leaks, first 24 hours after install. Same engineer come back said he fixed 6 days later confirmed leak in same place. Flue was replaced and they removed the pink expanding foam he installed around the boiler and replaced with sand cement and fitted an internal collar around the flue. Week or so later I can smell something called out gas emergency and was advised ppm readings. Boiler was capped for the 3rd time. Engineer come and repaired. I've since had gas safe attend to check the workmanship as you can appreciate I was concerned due to all the issues identified. They don't an inspection found some issues which have since been fixed (no programmer and discharge pipe lacking bend) he checked for gas and confirmed it's safe. However. I can still smell something in the room after the boilers been on 5-10 minutes. Engineers been out and couldn't find issue(wasn't expecting visit cooked bacon so that's all that could be smelt🤦) he advised it could be shipping oil from where the parts are shipped to manufacturer however the boiler is like 3 months old now so wouldn't expect it to be that? The landlord must be getting frustrated and thinks I'm nit picking but I can definitely smell something albeit not gas (detector installed no issues identified) any advice as to what this could be
