does it take to fit a carpet to a room 5m x 4m, no underlay (existing very good), room empty? Thanks.

Information about how empty the area is can be very important.
The carpet grade and temperature can affect fitting time.
If everything is as it should be and the area has only one entrance and the area is perfectly square I would expect no problem with a 30 minute fitting time.
