Bathroom Fitting

Can you fit thermostatic bar shower over bath

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.54 PM

Hi, Rather than a traditional mixer shower, can you fit a thermostatic bar shower (i.e. not connected to the bath taps) over the bath? If not, what showers should i be looking at for over the bath (but not connected to the taps)? Many thanks

Hi Yes you can though you will need to run hot and cold supplies to the valve, triton or bristan or some other well known make. A lot depends on your walls; tiled, brick, plasterboard etc.. access for fixings and remedial works are a consideration too.
