Poor water pressure in new bathroom

We have just had our bathroom refitted. The water pressure is now poor for the cold and terrible for the hot. The fitter has various reasons for this but I don’t understand why I have paid thousands of pounds to have to spend 30 minutes running a bath. Any thoughts?

poor pipework design or sizing ,restrictive valves,was he a plumber or bathroom fitter ?,allways use a qualified plumber.

Hi Salty. Did you get a receipt... if not you may have lost the legal chance of recourse... should have one by law you-know.
However, you could look into having a duel water pump fitted somewhere on that side of things. Get in a professional.

Look up the make and model of the taps. Some taps are designed specifically for high use on high water pressure systems and have flow restrictors built in to the tap body. For example,
If you have a gravity fed system flow restrictors are a no. On the other hand it may just be as simple as a valve not functioning properly.
