Fencing

Unsure of how to proceed

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.54 PM

The sides of my property have open access to the back garden, there is a wall at one side and trees at the other, we are trying to see if we can close them both off with a high fence and gate, but as we are on a tight budget not sure how to do this

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Maybe try use wooden posts and panels, you might be able to find them on sale or reduced.

Good afternoon As the other person said to keep your budget down the only way really would be yo use 6x6 panel fence along with wood post concreted in. To gain your extra height you could run trellises on the top this also gives it a decorative look. Hope this helps.

You need to be using concrete posts and concrete gravel boards if not you’ll be changing them in 10 years down the line. Spend a little more the fence will last longer

Use wooden post and panels. Sometimes you can fetch some cheaper panels from fencing retails supplies, (ie) warped or damaged panels that with a lick of paint can look good as new. Look around on social media and selling sites (ie) Ebay, Gumtree and facebook market. Better off spending your money on a professional fencer that installs them properly so that they last longer.
