Plastering & Rendering

Plastering first or cupboard and sockets first

Anonymous user 15/03/2024 - 2.54 PM

We were going to get a plasterer in then a joiner for doors /skirting and electrician to make all sockets flush with wall. However we also want to extend an existing cupboard to become a built in cupboard taking up a whole wall. What order should all this this be done?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Get a good chippy in, then an electrician. Get that aspect sorted, then get a plasterer in. Plasterer can drop socket covers back on, then your ready for decoration

The extension to the cupboard and the electrical work need doing before any plastering works can be finished off
