Leaking Kitchen Window

** Update Thank you for the replies! They did get in touch with me and said that it was because there was no cavity tray installed so it will continue to leak. They still won't give me the contact details of the builder even though I paid him direct but have said after I spoke to a manager that they will ask him to return and install a cavity tray, this was 2 weeks ago and I've not heard anything since. They initially said that it was not their problem, and that the builder was only asked to turn the lintel round and that is what I paid him for. But I employed him to stop the leak, it was him that said the lintel needed turning and he mentioned nothing about a cavity tray when he was doing it, or obviously we could have got it sorted at the time. I'm not a builder so I have no idea what was causing the leak or how to stop it which is why I have to rely on what I'm told. I do understand extra problems occur when doing jobs that may not have been foreseen, and am always willing to pay the extra to make sure that it is done properly. They've made me feel like I'm being unreasonable. So I'm not really sure where to go except to keep chasing them but they aren't very responsive. I've got green mould growing on the window now as it's wet all the time and the new plaster is starting to crack around the top. Is this normal with builders? I would have thought he would have said about the cavity tray at the time, so I could get it fixed even though their may be an extra cost involved ** Shortly after my windows were done the kitchen window leaked again when it was raining. I asked for them to come back to inspect it and as soon as the installer went outside, he said the problem was that the lintel was in back to front. My first question is should the surveyor have noticed this? I asked the installer if he noticed when he put the window in, and he said yes but it was nothing to do with him. I spoke to the window company who said they could send their builder out to fix it, due to time constraints I agreed to do this as the plasterer was booked and I needed to stop the water coming in. They sent the builder and asked me just to deal with him and pay him direct. He came and 'fixed' the problem and charged £320, this was after quoting me £240 initially. Unfortunately my dad just paid him in cash as I was at work, and when he asked for a receipt he was just given a piece of paper that said 'cash paid - £320'. This had no name, address or phone number on for the builder so I don't have his contact details. Now a month later the window is still leaking, if it rains hard it is absolutely pouring through so the issue hasn't been fixed at all. The window installer came last week and said he would reseal the window to see if that helped, but that he thought it was the plaster still drying that looked damp. But I had filmed the rain pouring through and the plaster had dried already. It is still leaking since they resealed it
