Hello, I have leaking roof close to the chimney, what is the best solution? Is there any insulation which may be faulty and easy to fix? Thank you in advance

Possible lead flashings or broken tiles or degraded felt all relatively easy to fix

Hi you need to get on the roof see if there are any broken slates/tiles if so replace. If it's coming in where the lead flashing is then you can strip some slates off and you will see where the water is visibly. You can then put it right changing the lead flashing at the same time.

Sounds like faulty tiles near chimney or the lead flashing may have come out of the chimney or it has a split in the lead
