Do I need a handyman, a plumber or a spark to replace a like for like electric shower?

If you are changing an electric shower unit (like for like) then a competent person can do (Handyman) but if you are starting from scratch or replacing with a higher powered unit., then you will require a Part P Certified Plumber or Electrician.

As long as the new shower is of the same power rating then an experienced competent person is able to fit a replacement as long as they abide by building regulations and BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations.
