Little hole on radiator

Hi after tenant left property I found little hole on radiator on front face easily can access I dont want to replace it's expensive any way to mended permanently and cheap Thank you.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Its possible to drain the radiator down, remove from wall and take it to someone to weld it up for you, then paint it.....however that is not going to inexpensive, cheaper and safer to replace with new.

Best to replace it , quite a few temp repair kits out there but that’s really what they are . In reality the radiator has rotted from the inside which means the rest of it will be in a similar condition and quite capable to pop another hole at anytime , if it’s a combi boiler then that’s adding to the problem as it’s a pressurised system . Replace for a new unit....will cost more in long run to remove,weld and re powder coat than replace for a brand new one, plus there will be more corrosion in that rad too and probably the system its also a good opportunity to flush the system and re inhibit. Hope this helps

Can you plug a hole to pressure cooker (as that how radiator works when gets warm)?? Like for like repalcement is the cheapest option.
